Set up a quiet place to write

Put the baby shower guest cards on a table with several comfortable pens and a tray for finished pages. Leave enough clear space for guests to rest a sheet flat. If the arrival area gets busy, place the pages at seats instead so writing does not hold up the welcome.

Print for handwriting, then keep it simple

Test your chosen pen on one sheet, especially if you use heavier or coated paper.
