A quiet puzzle gives guests something to do without asking them to perform in front of the room. The important part is keeping the rules clear and the answers close at hand. This wedding vocabulary game uses familiar words, with a few longer scrambles to keep the round interesting.

Set a short round with room to adjust
Explain that the letters need to be rearranged into words associated with a wedding. Suggest five to seven minutes, but let the group finish at its own pace if there is no prize at stake. Start the timer only after everyone has a pencil and a sheet.
For a competitive round, decide beforehand whether phones and hints are allowed. If you offer a hint, give it to the whole room at once so nobody receives a private advantage. Guests who do not enjoy word puzzles can watch, help a partner, or keep chatting.

The answers in order are BRIDE, GROOM, VEIL, VOWS, RINGS, BOUQUET, TOAST, DANCE, CEREMONY, and HONEYMOON. For example, TEUQBOU rearranges to BOUQUET, including the U after the Q. NOOMYHONE contains the three O letters and two N letters needed for HONEYMOON.
Award one point for each correct wedding word, making ten points possible. Capitalization does not matter, but the letters must match the scramble. If two players finish with the same score, let them share the win or use a prize draw announced before the round.
Help without giving away the whole answer
A category hint can keep the longer words approachable: one answer describes a bunch of flowers, another names the formal wedding event, and another is the trip after the wedding. Use these only if the table gets stuck. Reading a scrambled word aloud letter by letter can also help someone who finds the print difficult to see.
Make the printed letters easy to read
Print in portrait orientation with the complete image fitted inside the paper’s printable area. The vertical 2:3 page can leave white margins on Letter or A4 paper; keep those margins instead of cropping the puzzle. Check a test copy for clear letters and enough room to write before making the full set.
The sheet uses dark lettering and restrained decoration so the puzzle remains useful in grayscale. Place copies on a firm writing surface and keep the answer page at the host’s seat. One checked test print is more useful than a large stack with the last row missing.
