Baby Shower Word Scramble Printable with Answers
A missing letter can turn a quick party puzzle into an argument over the answer key. Every scramble on this page contains exactly the letters needed for its solution, including repeated letters. The ten words start with short baby basics and finish with longer vocabulary for a little extra challenge.

Explain the rule before starting the timer
Rearrange each row into one baby related word, using every printed letter exactly once. All answers use English vocabulary, including the US terms diaper, stroller, and pacifier. Allow about five minutes, or leave the baby shower word puzzle untimed if your group prefers to chat while solving.
Award one point per correct word, for a maximum of ten. The most correct answers wins; if scores tie, share the prize or draw among the tied players. Announce the tie rule at the beginning so nobody feels surprised at the end.

Read the solutions in row order: crib, bib, bottle, diaper, rattle, blanket, stroller, pacifier, onesie, and bassinet. The answer sheet repeats each scrambled string beside its solution, which makes it easier to check the right row. A word with the same meaning does not solve the scramble unless it also uses the supplied letters.
For the longer entries, count repeated letters before scoring: stroller has two Ls and two Rs, pacifier has two Is, onesie has two Es, and bassinet has two Ss. Keep the printed key nearby rather than trying to reconstruct the longest words during the game.
Offer help without giving away every answer
Tell players they can skip a difficult row and return to it after solving shorter words. Separating vowels from consonants on spare paper can make a jumble easier to read. If the table stalls, give the first letter of one agreed row to everyone at the same time.
Pair guests who would enjoy working together, especially when some are less familiar with English baby vocabulary. For a gentler version, play without prizes and reveal one answer at a time. Participation can stay optional; a paper activity should fit the gathering rather than interrupt a conversation people are enjoying.
Make a clear test print
Print in portrait orientation on US Letter or A4, choosing Fit to printable area. The original image has a vertical 2:3 shape, so extra margins on standard paper are expected. Keep the whole page visible instead of filling the paper by cropping its edges.
Check the ten scrambled strings on one test copy before printing the stack. The large dark letters and restrained teal details are designed to remain clear in grayscale. Put the answer copy out of sight, place a spare pen on each table, and let guests spend their time solving words rather than waiting for supplies.
