How to play
Give each guest one game sheet and a working pen or pencil. Ask everyone to write the letter of the correct baby name beside each animal, using each letter once. Start with five minutes for this version, and tell the group the time limit before play begins.
When time is up, read the answers aloud and award one point per correct match. The highest possible score is twelve. If several guests tie, share the win or draw a winner from the tied names; explain your choice at the start so nobody expects speed to decide the result.
Offer paired play for guests who would enjoy working together, particularly when children join in or English animal vocabulary is unfamiliar. Keep participation optional and let guests continue chatting if they prefer. A clipboard or firm table surface helps anyone filling out the sheet away from a dining table.

Some baby animal names apply to more than one species. This particular game avoids repeated answers in its bank, making each letter usable exactly once. If you later make your own version with elephants and giraffes, remember that both have calves and adjust the matching instructions accordingly.
Printing tips before the shower
